Job Description:

Title: Laboratory Technician

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Location: Flanders, NJ
Schedule: M-F 8 AM- 4 PM
Type: Contract

Responsibilities: Prepare liquid product samples
Perform laboratory tests and procedures
Read samples on spectrophotometer and record data
Maintain laboratory equipment.

Requirements: BS Chemistry or Biochemistry preferred
Lab experience with pH Meter testing, Viscosity testing, ICI testing, Color Matching, Spectrophotometer, Flow/Leveling, Weighing, Stain resistance testing etc. a plus.
Excellent organizational and record keeping skills and detail oriented,
Basic math/computer skills and have the ability to communicate with others.
Experience in the coatings industry a plus.
