Job Description:
A company is looking for an Underwriter II to manage the
underwriting process for Agency Conventional loans.
Key Responsibilities
Manage individual pipeline by completing Underwriting Reviews and
Conditions Reviews within established turn times
Identify document deficiencies and request additional information
from clients as needed
Assist other department personnel in interpreting underwriting
guidelines and updating loan status
Required Qualifications
5+ years of mortgage industry experience, with 3 years of recent
underwriting or loan review experience
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office products
Experience in Retail or Non-Delegated Underwriting
Knowledge of FNMA and FHLMC guidelines
Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as Desktop
Underwriter and Loan Prospector
