Job Description:

A company is looking for a Credentials Coordinator to manage provider applications and facilitate malpractice insurance underwriting.



Key Responsibilities

Process provider applications for malpractice insurance and facility privileges
Coordinate and follow up on the reappointment process for contracted facilities
Maintain accurate documentation and database records for all contracted providers


Required Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent (GED) required; some college coursework desired
One or more years of experience in a medical staff office or credentialing position preferred
Good computer skills with intermediate experience in Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to frequent interruptions
