• Employment Type: Local ContractDuties: "Prepare and prep for cardiac caths, PCI(STEMI ) and other procedures such as peripheral vascular, pacemaker, interventional radiology procedures, etc.Able to monitor, document and calculate hemodynamic dataProvide procedural assistance to physician, pre, intra and post procedureAssess and manage access site, and inform physicianAdhere to On call protocol for Cath labPrepare patient for procedures"Skills: Licensed Radiologic TechnologistRCIS certification preferredBLS, ACLS & IABP experience requiredCardiac Cath lab experience required"Education: High School Diploma or GED requiredCath Lab and EP Lab would only be looking at CVT and invasive techs who scrub interventional cardiology cases in cath labs and/or EP labs. They are licensed Radiology Technologists and/or Certified RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialists). They do procedures such as PCI, Diagnostic Heart Caths, Ablations, Pacemakers. Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist experience scrubbing interventional cardiology cath lab cases. Facilities Cath Lab and EP are looking for an RCIS certified OR a licensed RT who has experience scrubbing Interventional Cardiology procedures such as STEMI, PCI, Diagnostic Cardiac Caths.MetaSense, Inc.
