Job SummaryPerforms statistical analyses and models development to support decision-making by running statistical strategies and working with various asset classes. Typically manages 2 or more specialized departments comprised of supervisors, managers, professionals, and/or large numbers of operational support employees.Job DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As a VP, Quantitative Analytics - E-Credit, you will be working in a fast-paced, active trading environment with -front office deadlines. -You will join the -Quant team to -develop -models for corporate bond (IG and HY) electronic trading and create -analysis tools for the trading desk. You will work closely with multiple stakeholders like Trading and Sales, Structuring, Global Market Risk and Technology. - -What will you do?Research, develop and implement mathematical models for price and risk of corporate bonds as part of electronic trading algorithms.Improve and existing models, tools, and operational frameworks.Support ad-hoc requests for quantitative tools and analysis from corporate bond electronic trading desk.Document products and models.Work closely with risk and control functions to achieve and maintain formal validation of models for official reporting.What do you need to succeed?Post-graduate degree in -a -quantitative area -such as mathematics, physics, finance, -engineering, or computer science.At least 4 years of experience providing quantitative support to trading desks.Hands on experience with electronic trading of IG bonds: corporate bond products and markets and experience with electronic trading.Strong numerical and analytical programming skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills; the ability to approach novel problems systematically and with tenacity. -673507880#LI-Hybrid#LI-POSTWhat's in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
